Hayley Masching was born and raised in Algonquin, Illinois. She moved to Iowa City in 2017 to attend college at the University of Iowa. Completing her undergraduate education in three years, Hayley earned her B.A. in Political Science, as well as two minors in Criminology, Law, and Justice and Philosophy. She then continued her legal education at the University of Iowa, graduating in 2023.
Throughout law school, Hayley honed her legal analysis, writing, and research skills through her coursework and extracurricular involvement. She earned top scores in her Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research courses, receiving the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. Hayley also competed in several Iowa Law moot court competitions, where she received awards for best brief, earning her a spot on the Jessup International Moot Court Competition Team.
Hayley recently moved to Coralville and is excited to get involved with her community. In her free time, she loves to read fiction, run, and listen to podcasts.
